New class about COLOR!

January 4, 2017

Well, it's about the crocheting, too, but do you remember the Gemma Blanket? I decided it needed to be on camera! Not only do I demonstrate how to make the blanket, but I share my methods for doing the magic loop, standing stitches, and the invisible join. As well as my modified picots!

Additionally, one entire segment is dedicated to yarn selection and color inspiration. I talk a little bit about contrasting colors, color weights, and encourage thinking outside the box and challenging yourself with something new! One of my favorite places to go for a little color inspo is www.design-seeds.com - if you've never heard of Design Seeds and you love color, you have GOT to go check out this website!

I also share a few samples that I worked up with different color combos as examples. I have to say that my favorite version of this blanket so far is actually the blue and pink one because it's just so unexpected!

Take a look at my intro video and tell me what you think!

And if you're ready to sign up, here's my referral link, where you'll get your first three months of premium membership on Skillshare for just 99 cents. Enjoy!
